ENSEMBLE OPEN HOUSE @ PCCC – JUNE 2016

June 9, 2016@ 6PM at the PCCC Theatre!

Artistic Director, Nicholas Rodriguez, will preview part of a new monologue, “demolished.”

25 students, sixth grade through senior year, from the Paterson public school system  performed repertory by Rodriguez and other guests with funding from the City of Paterson and the Passaic County Cultural & Heritage Council.

 

 

On Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 6 pm, the Inner City Ensemble (ICE) will conduct an open-house in the Passaic County Community College (PCCC) Theater on the corner of Memorial Dr. and Ellison St. This intergenerational dance program, led by Artistic Director Nicholas Rodriguez will feature students from Public School #2, the Don Bosco Technical Academy (DBTA), as well as other teenage participants from various Paterson high schools.

The PCCC showing will also launch the ICE Alumni Choreography Lab, which is being facilitated by ICE alumnae, Liliana Amador-Marty.  Despina ‘Debbie’ Stamos and special guests will be previewing a dance collaboration.

The Inner City Ensemble’s mission is two-fold: to provide free and low-cost arts training to improve children’s lives within the City of Paterson;  and to present high-quality performances to promote a positive image of Paterson.
